Peace to those who are far off.
Peace to those who are near! (Ephesians 2:17)

Ephesians 2:4–7

God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses,
made us alive together with Christ, and raised us up with him, and made us sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
that he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.

Glory to God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
As in the beginning, so now, and forever. 

Amen.

Lord, our God, our Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier:
Cleanse us from all hypocrisy,
Unite us to our fellow men and women by the bonds of peace and love,
And confirm us in holiness; now and forever.

Saviour God, whose purpose it was from eternity to save mankind:
Complete your work in the world;
Raise up the fallen, give new life to the weary,
And bring all things to harmony and perfection
In the kingdom of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Prayer

 Lighten our darkness, Lord, we pray;
And in your great mercy defend us from all perils and dangers of this night;
For the love of your only Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pray for those in need in your family, church and community.
And thank God for His answers to previous prayers.

Benediction

May the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ,
Himself restore, establish, strengthen us.
